A great way to get to know lots of members!

The CB55+ Office helps keep the trains running on time, ensuring we all know where to be when.
Nobody wants to be called late to lunch!

Volunteers run the office at CB55+ each weekday morning.

What:

The CB55+ Office is staffed by volunteers and supports members to:

  • purchase memberships

  • coffee cards

  • tickets for Lunches and Events, and

  • register for courses and activities.

The Office team also handle inquiries and assist with the administrative operation of the Centre and the Association.

When:

The Office is open from 9 am – 12 pm, Monday to Friday. We are closed for statutory holidays.

How:

Office volunteers commit to one 3-hour shift twice a month, but preferably weekly. Computer skills required. This is a great way to get to know lots of members!

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • The ability to deal with people calmly and pleasantly, even under pressure, when acting as receptionist for the Association.

  • A clear speaking voice, when dealing with members in person and with telephone enquiries.

  • Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel to be able to deal effectively with incoming/outgoing email and produce documents as required.

  • Organizational skills to help with running a busy and diverse office.

Full training is provided. Our volunteers work 2 or 3 shifts each month and we can be flexible with scheduling to accommodate other activities and absences.
