INFORMATION FROM OUR STRATEGIC PLANNING MEETING

At our Strategic Planning meeting, it was decided that as an Association, we should offer more opportunities for members to come together in social settings.
At the last Board meeting it was agreed to approach the membership to see if anyone wishes to take on the role of Social Convenor/Coordinator.  There are already several members of the Board who have agreed to serve on any committee that may be established.  The role of the Social Convenor
would be to generate ideas that would provide opportunities for our members to get together– not do all the work!

We already offer several opportunities (Men’s BBQ, Garden Party, etc.) with people who organize these events which we hope they will continue to do.  We trust this is not an onerous position, and the expectation is to add one or two social activities this year.

If you are interested in  making this type of contribution to CB55+ or wish to chat about what might be involved, please contact David Docherty (President) or one of the Board members.  Our contact information is on the Website or just pull us aside at the Centre.

We have many new members so this is a great way to get involved. You can be sure there will be a lot of help.
